Dreadfully slow under El Capitan

1.1.7 badly needs an update for OSX10.11 El Capitan - immediately after updating the OS, Clear became extremely unresponsive to typed input. Type as fast as you want, and it will dribble characters to the screen at about 2-3 per second. Extraordinarily frustrating. I’ve stopped using the desktop app entirely until this gets fixed.
