Add touchpad gestures to the OS X version!
I love this app on my iPhone: it is simple and fast to use, and that’s what makes it great. I’ve been using it for years, now.
Then I spent several times what I payed for the iOS app to get the OS X version of it on my mac, thinking it would be nice to quickly edit my lists while I’m at the computer. Well I was wrong: the OS X version of Clear is clunky, slow, and frustrating to use because it doesn’t make use of the gestures that make the iOS version great. Now, the welcome guide for the app DOES SAY THAT YOU CAN pinch and use a few gestures to navigate around in the app, but none of the gestures work for me when I try them (and I’ve tried A LOT!) Paying way more for the desktop version would lead one to think that it would be way better, but it’s not: it’s pretty lousy.
My advice: stick to the iOS version of the app. Until the team adds gesture support for the OS X version, I’ll be staying away from it (it’s too slow to use!—very frustrating when you’ve become accustomed to flying through your lists on the iPhone.)
